YAY its all done

Big shock to the system I was up at 6:20am yesterday morning so I could shower and be sorted before I had to wake Cody up for the trip up to the superclinic my dad (in the photo behind us) took us up, we got up there and had to wait a bit in the waiting room then they called us down, and sadly my dad wasnt' allowed to go any further, we then went into another waiting room which had a cool play area for the kids, there were 3 other kids also having grommets put in too...so we got there at about 7:30, 8:55 we were still waiting but we were going in next, two others went in before us...so im not looking forward to seeing my son be put under by the gas, but think how i feel when the two ladies before me come out after seeing there babies go under crying omg, so the surgeon dude comes out and asks a few questions, questions already been asked by someone else but anyway, and then you have to put on this sexy green gown (oh so hot NOT lol) and a hat thing just to finish the outfit of lol, and then in you go, and again i was surprised that i had to take him into the room they do the operation i wasn't expecting that at all lol, so they give you a chair to sit on and i had to hold cody his back to my chest and give him a hug (in other words hold him tight so he didnt' fight it to much) and he wasn't as bad as i thought he would be he did cry a bit, and one of the many people in the room came up and held his feet and gave them a rub to try and help calm him down a bit, and then within seconds cody was snoring hehe, they then took him from me and put him up onto the bed, they said i could give him a kiss before i left if i wanted (oh and cody to had one of the sexy hats on too haha) so i did and he had tears in his eyes and that made my eyes well up, but i didnt' cry hehe....so i went back to the waiting room to grab my bag and his bag and then back out to the other waiting room to where my dad was and Debs who had come up as well.....so we talked and waited waited waited it seems like ages but it wasnt' that long, then they called me into recovery, he was just waking up and not a happy camper (understandable though) but once i got him to take his bottle he was fine and they said we could go ( i was expecting a good couple of hours or at least one hour in recovery its what all the forms said....but nope he was good as gold after his bottle....when i first picked him up though he was like a oversized newborn baby and had no control of his head and all floppy poor boy...this photo Debs took its us leaving the super clinic surgerical part of the hospital....that was like 15 minutes after he had his operation....when we got home he was fine, he ate heaps and had another bottle....and seem good for the day/evening he was up and down all night though but thats understandable too....then this morning we got up took jacqueline to the bus stop and when i was talking to my friend carolyn after the bus had gone cody was having trouble keeping his eyes open, poor boy so it was off home for him to have his breakfast and then i sat him on the sofa while his night garden programme was on and i did the dishes as pictured below, i left his jacket and hat on as we were going for a walk after his programme had finished but he had other plans one minute hes sitting up the next i know hes taken his hat of is lying down and sound asleep, with teddy of coursethen ali stopped of and cody woke up, once ali left it was down the road to get break milk etc, well cody feel asleep again in the pram, pictured below, poor boy so tired the last time he fell asleep in the pram he was about 10 months old maybe hehe....so i just left him in his pram and he slept till 2ish i think it was
hes been fine when he woke had some lunch to eat and then sat on the sofa to watch hi 5 dvd, then it was silly buggers when jacqueline got home and i think he wore himself out again as you can see below back to the sofa with ted and blankie.....his temp was up today but gave him pamol to bring it back down and so far it has done that
hes been up and down already a few times tonight its now 10:47 hes back in his bed for how long is any ones guess, hope hes much better tomorrow....now these photos were taken yesterday of him with the box his highchair came in hes been using it as a slide, but doesnt he look so comfortable sitting on it hehe who needs a lazyboy chair when your got a big empty box lol

and on that note im off to bed so very tired....

The relief that it's all over now and no more waiting - lets hope those grommets do a good job, like they're meant to.
